I just picked up about a dozen of these stamps (they are free btw). SnagIt has a number of accessories and stamps for SnagIt to help both automate your work a bit more and to add more options when you put together your images. It only takes about 30 seconds, and if I like I can even push the image out to Photoshop and do some more advanced work.
Its excellent if I want to add an image to a mind map, powerpoint, or to a blog article (like the images below). This program has probably been the best buy for about $30 that I have made in the last couple of years. Here’s a quick and easy fun tip for working with SnagIt, the screen capture program of choice for most bloggers and web designers. Then either use the tinypng wordpress plugin to optimize the file size or the free web services at. Pro Tip – Save the image as a jpg with 81% compression. It’s one of the best tools as well for creating featured images or twitter card images on the fly for publishers of WordPress or for communicating on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or Pinterest. Update – I have used TechSmith products like Camtasia for over a decade and Snagit as well. I’ve updated Snagit almost every years since then. Snagit is still a must have tool for bloggers and content creators, just as much as we update this article in 2020 as it was in 2008 when we first started using it. Snagit has developed a massive library of stamps and images assets free to download for snagit customers.
